The Culture Map: Breaking Through the Invisible Boundaries of Global Business by Erin Meyer
whether you work in a home office or abroad, business success in our ever more globalized and virtual world requires the skills to navigate through cultural differences and decode cultures foreign to your own. Renowned expert Erin Meyer is your guide through this subtle, sometimes treacherous terrain where people from starkly different backgrounds are expected to work harmoniously together.

we’ll discuss the framework and practical tools that Erin uses in the book and how you can apply them in your day-to-day life, even outside the business environment.
about the speaker
Stas Zhukovskiy
Throughout his career, Stas has been combining two passions: programming and corporate B2B sales. At Branch (HQ in Palo Alto, CA), he was able to combine both passions and help lead a small startup to a $5B global company.
Currently, he works at Toloka, which is another startup in the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence space that originated inside Yandex and is now slowly but surely becoming a global company.
Stas is a fan of the culture map book and recommends it as a bible to anyone working with global teams and businesses. The book helped him manage a global technical team across 16 time zones and make sure that all the people from different backgrounds and cultures stay productive and included. He will share some of the personal experiences that were eye-openers to him once he started applying the Culture Map knowledge.
